CENTRAL ASIAN JOURNAL OF NEPHROLOGY

Aims and Scope

 Aims

The Central Asian Journal of Nephrology aims to be a premier platform for disseminating high-quality, peer-reviewed research that advances the science and clinical practice of nephrology. The journal emphasizes research that enhances understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of kidney diseases in Central Asia and globally. It encourages interdisciplinary approaches combining molecular medicine of kidneys, clinical nephrology, advances in renal replacement therapy (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, kidney transplantation), public health, and data science to address kidney health disparities and improve patient outcomes.

Scope

The journal invites original research, reviews, and case reports in the following areas:

1. Clinical Nephrology

  • Diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic kidney diseases.
  • Studies on glomerular diseases, tubulointerstitial disorders, and systemic diseases affecting the kidney.
  • Innovations in dialysis and renal replacement therapy.
  • Transplant nephrology, including donor-recipient outcomes, immunosuppression, and organ preservation.

2. Hypertension and Diabetes in Nephrology

  • Studies on the Cardio-Renal-Metabolic conditions.
  • Diagnosis and treatment protocols of hypertensive and diabetic kidney diseases.
