Central Asian Congress of Nephrologists 2026

Proceedings to be published in the Central Asian Journal of Nephrology (CAJN)
The National Kidney Foundation of Kazakhstan invites researchers, clinicians, and academicians to submit their scientific abstracts for the upcoming Central Asian Congress of Nephrologists 2026.
This prestigious event will take place from October 9–10, 2026, in Aktau, Kazakhstan. It offers an exceptional platform to share groundbreaking research, discuss clinical advancements, and network with leading experts across the region.
All submitted abstracts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process by a panel of experts. Accepted abstracts will be published as conference proceedings in a special supplemental issue of the Central Asian Journal of Nephrology (CAJN). Every accepted abstract will be assigned a unique, trackable DOI number

2. Oral Presentations & Young Nephrologists Competition

3. Submission Guidelines
To ensure a smooth evaluation process, authors must adhere strictly to the following submission requirements:
- Language: All abstracts must be written and submitted exclusively in English.
- Submission Channel: Submissions must be uploaded solely through the CAJN online submission system (https://www.editorialpark.com/cajn). Submissions via email will not be considered.
- Word Count Limit: Maximum of 400 words per abstract (excluding the title, author list, and institutional affiliations).
- Visual Elements: Authors may include a maximum of two tables and two figures per abstract, provided they are high-resolution and embedded directly within the online submission form.
Abstract Structure Requirements:
Depending on your type of study, please structure your abstract using the explicit headers detailed below:
Format A: Original Research / Systematic Reviews
• Background: Clear explanation of the rationale and objective of the study.
• Methods: Brief description of the study design, setting, participants, and interventions.
• Results: Key findings supported by empirical data. Generics like "results will be discussed" will lead to immediate rejection.
• Conclusion: The main takeaway message and clinical significance.
Format B: Case Reports
• Background: Relevant clinical context and why this specific case is unique or noteworthy.
• Case Presentation: Detailed description of patient demographics, clinical history, key diagnostic findings, interventions, and clinical outcomes.
• Conclusion: Educational value and specific clinical lessons learned.
4. Core Congress Topics
Submissions are highly encouraged across all areas of experimental, clinical, and preventative nephrology, including:
- Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) & Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) pathogenesis and management
- Glomerular, Tubulointerstitial, and Cystic Renal Diseases
- Dialysis, Hemofiltration, and Advanced Extracorporeal Therapies
- Kidney Transplantation (clinical outcomes, immunology, and immunosuppression)
- Pediatric Nephrology
- Hypertension, Metabolic Syndrome, and Cardiovascular Complications in Renal Patients
- Diabetic Nephropathy and lifestyle-related renal conditions
5. Peer Review & Final Author Notes
• Successfully Submissions: After successfully submission, corresponding author and all coauthors will receive automatic email notifications about their submission.
• Peer Review Process: All submissions will be double-blind peer-reviewed by an expert scientific panel based on scientific rigor, clinical relevance, and clarity.
• Submission Accuracy: Please ensure your abstract is completely proofread before finalizing. Once the CAJN system closes on September 10, 2026, no further edits or modifications to the author list will be permitted.
• Notification of Acceptance: Based on the double-blind peer review experts’ decision, authors will be notified about their abstract acceptance or rejection by September 15th, 2026.
• Publication Agreement: Submission of an abstract implies that at least one author registers for the congress to present the research if accepted.
